2026 marks the year of creator activations, where we celebrate and invest in the talented individuals who've become Riftbound experts. With the game's launch, we're committed to supporting those who've captivated audiences with their engaging content during the Origins release.
Spiritforged: A New Adventure:
Our upcoming Spiritforged release will be a unique experience. We're adopting a strategy that will be replicated for future set releases. Influencers who collaborate on previews will receive ongoing support, enabling them to revisit initial impressions and create content as players worldwide discover the set.
This support encompasses various forms. Primarily, we'll send out review products, allowing influencers to showcase the stunning foil treatments and create diverse gameplay content. But here's where it gets exciting: we're also providing content kits with gear tailored for physical card game content creation. We understand the unique challenges of physical setups, and we're here to empower creators to expand their skills and explore new horizons.
Contract Opportunities and Events:
Riftbound releases will offer contract opportunities covering gameplay, mechanics, collectability, and deck-building. We're open to fresh concepts, so keep creating! Our team is always on the lookout for innovative ideas, and we might just pay you to bring them to life.
When Riot attends events like PAX, Regional Qualifiers, or Gen Con, creators can expect networking opportunities, live content creation, and new previews. We're introducing additional badge types to cater to various attendees, including those sharing their experiences online. Keep an eye out for these mid-year!
For Regional Qualifiers outside China and other competitive events, a select few will receive the Creator Competitor badge, enabling them to compete and participate in various activities. If you're passionate about content creation but not ready for the competition, the Creator badge is for you, granting access to creator activations without entering the main event.
Partner Program Possibilities:
The launch of a new game brings fresh faces to content creation, and we're thrilled to see the growing Riftbound community. Similar to other Riot games, we aim to support our creators. Last year's beta partner programs for LOL, TFT, and VALORANT were just the beginning. While a Riftbound Partner Program isn't imminent, we're dedicated to exploring ways to support our creators in the interim.
In 2026, we'll launch a Riftbound Creator Discord server to facilitate collaboration and communication between Riot and creators. This platform will be a hub for aspiring casters, cosplayers, and content creators. Invites will start rolling out in late February, gradually expanding. We envision this space growing alongside the Riftbound community.
